In my classroom I will most definitely integrate technology because I do believe that it is very important. I believe that students learn best with hands on activities and I fully intend to provide the necessary supplies for them to have that opportunity. Technology is used in everyday life and the population as a whole benefits from it greatly. I hope to educate my students and give them technological experiences in my classroom so that they will be more likely to succeed in the real world.
I hope to learn many things in EDT 300. I know that using a computer as a teacher is a given. There are many programs that help teachers out inside the classroom. Creating lesson plans, grading materials, etc. can all be accomplished by using a computer. I want to gain all of the necessary knowledge to be able to take advantage of my resources. Also, as a student right now, I use the computer to complete just about every assignment in each class that I have. Without the ability to use a computer I would not be very successful at UAB.
